Youth Avoiders

I do the vocals in Youth Avoiders. The band is composed of 3 french and 1 german. We play a mix of punk rock and hardcore, influenced by Portland bands like The Observers or Autistic Youth, German bands like Idle Hands or Dean Dirg, and by US 80's hardcore bands. We are really into old school stuffs. We started playing around october 2009. We play mainly in Paris area, in some cities in France and sometimes in England, Belgium and Germany.
We first released a demo tape and when it became sold out, we repressed it on 7" vinyl. We also released a split 7" with our friends Zombies Are Pissed! from Caen (France), and our new 7" EP just came out.





What I can tell you about the Paris punk scene is that we are lucky to have punk gigs almost every night, but we haven't got that many venues compared to the size of the city. So it's not always easy to book underground DIY shows.
